For the past five years, I’ve helped businesses and creators bring their stories to life through video. From coaching and lifestyle brands to fitness and trade companies, I’ve learned that powerful video starts with understanding who you are, why you do what you do, and what your audience needs to feel.
I produced my first short film at eighteen, it won four film festivals and taught me the value of intentional storytelling. That same focus drives my work today. In 2023, I founded my production company to help brands use video strategically, not just to grab attention, but to build lasting trust.

How We Work
On Time, On Brief, On Budget.
Seamless and predictable. We align to your goals and timeline, run a clear collaborative process, from quick-turn socials to full campaigns and deliver on-brand videos that ship on time and perform.
Align
We start with a short intake to define the brief, objective, audience, success metric, budget, and timeline. Scope is confirmed in writing before we move.
Treatment
We translate the brief into a one-page creative outline with key messages, format, and look/feel. You approve the treatment, schedule, and budget before production.
Pre-production
We lock script/outline and shot list, staff the crew, secure locations/permits, and issue the call sheet. You get a single point of contact and a clear run-of-show.
Production
A tight, safe set led by a producer and DP; we capture all required A-roll/B-roll to the shot list. We coach on-camera talent and keep the day on time.
Post / Delivery
First cut via review link for desired revisions. Finals include masters and social crops, exported to your specs and delivered to your drive.

I’m a Director of Photography by trade. I started shooting young, spending most of my career behind the camera, leading camera and lighting and learning to create clean, beautiful images that serve the story and the brand. In the early years I took on every project I could to sharpen my craft and understand how productions really run. I worked across many different roles on Canadian sets and building a network of vetted crew. In 2024, I launched By Nic to bring that DP discipline to business: assemble the right specialists for each brief, run a clear, no-surprises process, and deliver on-brand video on time and ready to use.
